The whole internet is abuzz about it… the netizens are going crazy for it and finally, Samsung has spoken about its new cherry. Even with a ceiling breaking price, Samsung is very excited about its new kid on the cell phone market, ‘the’ Galaxy Note 8. What was billed as an ‘accidental’ leak earlier this month and now taken the form of a marketing and promotion activity by the company? The company is now officially promoting it massive size and design before going for a formal launch. The details have just arrived in this week when the company officially sent out press invites for its most hyped smartphone ever. In doing so the company has also left a door open by giving two important talking points of the phone, its ‘Mega Size & Design’.
Owing to the numerous leaks from internet sources, one thing is for sure that Galaxy Note 8 will be a ‘Mega Sized’. With the catchphrase for the event as “Do Bigger Things”, Samsung is actively promoting the devices’ whopping 6.3-inch screen with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio display. The launch is also dubbed huge not just for the phones gigantic size but also a sleek new design.
Despite a huge screen size, Samsung has not compromised with the display and looks. While a 6.3-inch smartphone is definitely a big device, what makes it seamless to use is the almost bezel-less Infinity Display that the company previously used in its Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus phones.
The company surely knows how to stick to its tricks and looks to follow a similar strategy that the company used during the launch of S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. Clear comparisons have already been started to make between Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. Though Galaxy Note 8 is one hell of a big phone there are slightly more squared bezels. It is perhaps the last minute change in the design which has come out after the leaked design online.
Nowhere comes the difficult part for Samsung, convincing the users to pay a price which is expected to start from $1,100. This is something that comes expected for a phone of such size and after what Apple is preparing to do. Yes, Apple is already in the process of hiking of iPhone 8 which will complement to Samsung taking a similar step.
