Actress Amy Jackson joins the list of Bollywood stars bagging roles in the West. The beautiful actress has bagged the role of Saturn Girl in Hollywood series Supergirl. According to the reports, she will be playing the role of comic book character Saturn Girl in the famous US series Super Girl.
The British born Bollywood beauty will make her debut in the third season of Supergirl. She will be seen playing the role of Imra Adreen and her alter ego as the kind, smart, and strong-willed Saturn Girl. The actress will be seen playing the role of superhero that uses her telekinetic abilities and superpowers to help those in need. As per the fictional biography of the character, Saturn Girl was born on Titan, one of Saturn’s moons. She lands on the Earth to help Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) fight the bad guys. She is seen as a close ally to the Super Girl in fighting her biggest threats.
The famous comic character Saturn Girl is a member of the Legion of Superheroes. This is a team in the 31st century with their leader Superboy. The Legion flight ring was actually featured on the show in the Fortress of Solitude. Many believe that Saturn Girl’s appearance may give weight to the theory that when Mon-El (Chris Wood) was sucked into the portal in the finale, he ended up with the Legion.
The role of Saturn Girl marks Jackson’s U.S. debut. This will be the beginning of her career in the West. She established herself as India’s key actresses ever since landing on the picture after a successful career in modeling. Her next major release is the much awaited 2.0, the sequel to India’s box office hit Robot.
